Original article written on 2020 dasarā, but updated for timings on 2023 dasarā: As always, immediately following the most-auspicious ongoing vi-jaya-daśamī, it’s pāpa-aṅkuśa ekā-daśi from 1:03🕐PM Tuesday, Oct 24th, 2023 to 10:25🕥AM Wednesday. I’ll physically & subtly begin my blissful 42-hour fortnightly fast from 6🕕PM Monday (daśamī, as always) & will continue to thoroughly enjoy it till 12🕛Noon Wednesday (dvā-daśi)!!!

The REAL āyudha pūjā: What, how, why, when & where⁉️ MRO4️⃣BMI here & now❣️ Yes, THE most significant āyudha pūjā is the regular maintenance, repair & overhaul (MRO) or rather re-generation (pū-jā) of our most precious lifelong tools 🧰 (āyudhā) in the playful😈battle (līlā🤺yudhā) of life, namely the physical🚶🏻‍♀️body, the emotional🥹mind & the sharp🧐intellect (BMI) right now right here within us is what mahā-navami inspires us to understand, undertake & utilize throughout life⚠️ Ongoing this lovely🥰Monday morning (7:38🕢~9:06🕘AM) is the last rāhu-kāl̥am̐ of 2023’s śarad navarātri. May you leverage siddhi-dhātri@guru-gāyatri ecstatically‼️

Irrespective of whatever activities we may be involved/engaged in, it’s an ecstasy experiencing, with every deep inhalation & exhalation, the communication or life energy flow (saras-vati at the throat) between our love-packed heart ❤️ (lakṣmi/resource/yamunā) & our wisely-perceptive third eye 👁 (pārvati/peak/gaṅgā).

Just pay absolute attention to every deep breath, honouring our temporary tools ⚒️ 🧰 🛠 of body, mind & intellect, in the true spirit of the week’s āyudha pūjā.  Eternal as we’re & ephemeral as these 3 tools of ours are, yet they can be the most significant & useful amongst all the innumerable tools that we employ throughout life, if & only if we can understand these 3 special most sophisticated inner tools well without taking them for granted; take care of them properly to the best of our abilities; & utilise them efficiently & effectively.

This is precisely what we shall all strive to do every moment of this precious life, as long as these temporary tools of body, mind & intellect last with us, before being recycled ♻️ via death ☠️ ... & that’s not too far away... in fact, a fleeting moment away, in the massive scales of time <kālā>. āūm̐ śakti

Well said! Each day is a little life: every waking and rising a little birth, every fresh morning a little youth, every going to rest and sleep a little death. Great to hear the good-old voice of your mom after a long time.
