Fiery☄️action🧨in🏝sandy🏖windy🌬July❗️

It isn’t mere coincidence that the current spiritually-charged month contains the birthdays of 3️⃣ popular paths amongst the innumerable in sanātana dharmā: 🧘🏻‍♀️yōgic, ☸️buddhist &🛕jainā:

1. While last Wednesday’s guru pūrnimā marked the uncountable anniversary of the first ever exposition of 🕉oneness <yōgā> of ♾everythingness by 🕳 nothingness <śi-vā> to our own 7️⃣dimensions of existence <sapta-r̥ṣis or our conscious operations from the 7️⃣ cakrās>;
2. Last Thursday’s vīra-śāsana jayanti marked the first teaching of mahā-vīrā in a divine voice discernible by all living creatures from the samvathsarana about 2,600 years ago; &
3. Either July 1st (bhārat🇮🇳) or Aug 1st (bhūtān🇧🇹) 2022 marks the first sermon of gautamā -the buddha☸️ to his first handful of students in the outskirts of vārāṇasī at sārnāth about 2,400 years ago.

mahā-vīrā’s message of all-inclusiveness within us (so that we don’t see anything or anybody as out of us!) remains most essential in today’s context. The creative creativity right within us (which some religions refer to as THE Creator!) & its entire creation (which others refer to as THE universe!) are one & the same, identical to the advaitic védāntic upaniṣadic takeaway.

The triumvirate of lāl-bāl-pāl operating from 3️⃣ corners of the nation🇮🇳 brought in a new dimension of firmness to our demand for freedom as our own right, well before & even after gāndhi’s “a-himsā movement” took over.

tilak, in particular, spread the strong message of “sva-rāj-yā is my birthright & I shall have it!” It still bears significance, 75 years after independence, as sva-rāj-yā literally means SELF rule, rendering the clarion cry 😿 eternally valid. As individuals, we need to ensure that our fantastic yet temporary toolkit🧰 of body-mind-intellect (BMI) & its 5 sets each of sensors & actuators are all subservient 🙇🏻‍♀️ to ourSelf: the permanent & primordial spirit/soul/atma & its phenomenal♾energy field: śakti.

“gītā rahasyā,” tilak’s interpretation of the śrī-mad bhagavad gītā extracted its secrets as he then perceived it & thus became a motivator to awaken the many sleeping arjunās amongst the😥toiling😓masses to gather freedom🆓fighters🤺in the new Great War for bhārat🇮🇳. His close friend & comrade śrī aurobindo’s interpretation of the gītā was equally effective in raising the😴drowsy🥱classes: so-called🧠intellectuals🧐!

Apart from his well-known contributions towards bhārat’s🇮🇳 freedom movement, the credit for the expansion of gaṇéśa caturti & visarjan as well as śiv jayanti (b’day of  chhatra-pati śi-vā-ji maha-rāj) into massive social celebrations by large communities across bhārat 🇮🇳 goes to lōka-mānya tilak. He organised & utilised  such events in many parts of the country🇮🇳 to enthuse people into a patriotic fervour.
